Finally...

Yeah, that's right...I'm starting a blog.  Seems everyone is doing it right?  Actually have thought about it for awhile & just getting around to it.  So here goes....


Every year, we struggle with trying to give our kids what they want for Christmas, while trying to make them realize how blessed they are.   We give to others--adopt a family with our small group & fill Christmas Shoe boxes, but still felt like they weren't getting it.   Granted, they are 7 & 3, but I would like to raise giving children!  


That brings me to this year.  A month or so ago,  I was invited to join Pinterest.  I did not realize I was missing out on so many awesome ideas! (or as Landon spells is Osum)  I would not say I'm addicted to Pinterest, but it is fun!  I have actually made some of the stuff I've pinned too!!  One of the ideas I ran across was RACK--Random Acts of Christmas Kindness.


So we came up with ideas (ok, most were taken off Pinterest...) & have assigned one for each day.  Instead of posting each day about what we are doing, I think I will wait until after Christmas & share how it all went.   So far, Landon seems excited about it.  Savannah is 3 & has the attention span of a gnat....but she's cute.  Maybe next year she will understand more!
